In 1921 during the diocesan administration of Bishop Benziger, the school moved to the present building As the strength of students increased the school building was renovated in 1993 and the classes had shifted to the first floor. Kerala Legislative assembly building, VJT hall, Chandrasekharn Nair stadium , MLA quarters ,University College, Fine arts college are some of thefamous cultural heritage sites near the school.The school maintains excellent standards in curricular and extra curricular activities. KCSL,Gandhidarshan , various subject clubs ,Vidyarangam Kala Sahithyavedi are functioning well. Bul Bul Unit was started in 2023.
