RC Schools Corporate Management took over the school in 1918 when Mr. K. Manuel was unable to continue the running of institution. The hard work and preservance of Mr. Xavier (Writer Xavier) Kallukunnil, the personal assistant to the British resident, and Mr. N Isac Padannaplavila, the Manager of the Thiruvananthapuram SMSM Institute, have played a crucial role in the growth of this institution. Sri. T. Benedict was the Headmaster of this school for a long period of 40 years from 1918 to 1958. Famous actor Mr. Sathyan studied in this school and he was a teacher in this school from 1929 to 1933.19 Headmasters and about 135 teachers have passed through 118 years of this school carrying the helm and imparting education.In the first period, classes I to IV had 3 divisions each. The school celebrated its centenary in 2007 and built an office room centenary buildingto commemorate the centenary.

There are many doctors, engineers, police officers, advocates, teachers, Government officials,writers etc. who have completed their primary education in this school and have achieved high standards in various sectors of the society.This school is under the Thiruvananthapuram South sub district education officer and now has one to four standards with divisions each.Pre Primary calsses starts from June 2021 and currently 30 children are studying in LKG and UKG.114 students are studying from LKG to 4th standard. Children who are economically very backward are studying in this school.On June 1 2022, Mrs. Reeja John, the current Headmistress, took charge and there are four teachers including Headmistress, two pre primary teachers and one Ayah working here.This school has emerged as one of the best schools in Thiruvananthapuram subdistrict by winning many prizes including first place in academic level, arts, sports and science competitions and various Quiz Competitions.

The parish and Management are in the initial stages of demolishing the 118 years old school building and constructing a new one. The school is supported in every way by the school Manager, the Parish, a good PTA and dedicated teachers who are working hard to make the school great.Kitchen cum store built with government funds was inagurated by Hon'ble Kerala Education Minister Sri. V. Sivankutty on 22nd April 2023.Through sponsorship, five computers were received for the Children this academic year. Also pre primary classes have been made child friendly through sponsorship. 5 Modern toilets constructed by Key Value Software Company at Technopark in December 2023. The primary objective is to make it one of the best primary schools in Thiruvananthapuram district.
